For this project I wanted to create an redesigned pet adoption process on the Seattle Humane website. Currently the system is pretty basic, showing a picture, name and age for each animal on the main adoption page and a in depth personality and behavior description when you click through. Using an interactive prototype I imagined a way to display more of that information on the main screen so people can search through potential pets based on more than just looks. This redesigned system would also allow a potential adopter to quickly fill out the pre-adoption application online and set up a time to meet pets that they are interested in, reducing the time spent waiting and doing paperwork at the physical humane society.
I created both a mobile and desktop version of the interactive prototype using the design elements and color scheme already present in the site.
